The Week Ahead - Championship Details - please READ CAREFULLY
Congratulations Stingrays! We won our last regular season meet against Admiral Heights to clench the division title!
We also had TWO Stingrays records broken!
Sophia Keller is the new record holder in the womens 15-18 100M IM with a time of 1:13.79
Nathaniel Ratte is the new record holder in the mens 15-18 50M Breaststroke with a time of 35.71
If you see Sophia or Nathaniel around on the pool deck be sure to congratulate them!
Now that the regular season is behind us, we look forward to the championship meet series. The Bronze, Silver, and Gold meets are league wide meets for any swimmer who wishes to participate. In order to qualify for a championship meet, a swimmer must have participated in at least 2 dual meets during the regular season and, if swimming in the Silver or Gold meet, have made the qualifying cutoff time for a given event. The Bronze meet is open to all swimmers. Qualifying times and are listed under the Championship Meets section of the Meets & Events tab on the team website.
If you wish to participate in the championship meet, you must register to swim. MEET ENTRIES ARE DUE BY MONDAY, JULY 19 AT 10:00AM - NO EXCEPTIONS! You will not be entered to swim if you do not register yourself. To register, go to the Sign Up Calendar under the Meets & Events tab and choose the meet you wish to participate in. A swimmer may only participate in one championship meet. You must first declare that you are attending the meet. Then you will have the option to sign up for the events in which you are eligible and to choose whether you are available to swim in a relay and leave any notes for Coach Ashley. Once you have registered for the meet of your choosing, go to the SRC Championship Meet to sign up to volunteer.
The meets will be run virtually (and simultaneously) on Saturday, July 24 at the South Pool. The meet will look and feel just like a regular season meet, but will be scored as three meets across the entire league.
Please email if you have questions.
Great job today Stingrays!
